Brandon noticed a lump in his upper, inner left thigh last night. He brought it to my attention this morning. We have been to the doctor and to the hospital for an ultrasound. ...the doctor called it a 'reactive' lymph node. Dr Jane...can you explain? He will be on antibiotics for 7 days and then we will check with the doctor again. Keep us all close in prayer. Thanks.

Did he do any lab like a blood count, test for cat scratch disease? Which antibiotic? A reactive lymph node is an enlarge node in response to infection, majority of time totally benign, let us know and he is in our prayers
We never like hearing our kids are anything but in perfect health...I'm praying for you Brandon...Do everything your mom says and the doctors too....keep us posted. We love you kiddo.
No blood work was done. No injury or wound. The medicine is cephalexin 3 times a day for 7 days.
Hopefully the meds take care of it. Will keep him in our prayers.
